Home Renovation and Environmental Cleanup

Rebuilding Together Oakland

Each year, PCSC raises around $12,000 with the help of fundraisers and parent donations to be sponsors of RTO.  We take complete responsibility for the renovation of a low income elderly person's home in Oakland in association with RTO. The renovation is entirely youth led, and PCSC's largest event.

Lake Merritt Cleanup

About 4 times a year, PCSC goes down to Lake Merritt to clean up trash in the surrounding areas around the lake.

Native Plant Nursery

Come to Joaquin Miller Park to propagate native plants at the plant nursery.  PCSC also volunteers at other Friends of Sausal Creek sites in the Oakland Hills

Rebuilding Together Oakland

RTO is an organization that serves low income citizens in Oakland, many with housing insecurity. We ask that you donate to this organization that does so much for PCSC! To find out more about our connection to RTO and to donate, visit the FAQ or Donation page! (If you do donate, we ask that you forward us a confirmation email, so that we can track our members' contributions to RTO!)

Piedmont Council, BSA

Friends of Scouting is the Piedmont Council BSA fundraising initiative. All money donated stays within Piedmont Council BSA and directly benefits Piedmont troops and crews! If you are interested in donating, click their logo or visit our donation page! (If you do donate, we ask that you forward us a confirmation email, so that we can track our members' contributions to the Piedmont Council!)

FMS Projects

Mr. Kelly is a small business owner in the Bay Area, who has been volunteering with PCSC since 2019. He helps on RTO and Tiny House projects. Consider checking out his company, Kelly Abramson Architecture, for all of your architecture needs!

Village Market

Village Market has graciously donated produce and groceries to PCSC annually for several years at the 4th of July Pancake Breakfast! This fundraiser is part of the effort by PCSC's VP Fundraising to raise money for the major projects run by PCSC! Please consider supporting Village Market as a way to repay their support of us!
